It's a training area. And this is another thread for "The Invasion" except with a different name.
Story:
AE's take:
You are a security guard called Kurt Morgan. In your youth, you hastily joined the army but found basic trainning very hard. On the eve of your deployment in Iraq, you fled, and went in to hiding, eventually returning home under a new name: Tommy Scholes.
You became a security guard for the Ryachem Corporation, a major chemical company subcontracted by the government to investigate new nerve-gases for the army. Being close to something military makes you feel better about your army days; as you see, you are in some small way, doing your part.
One day, you turn up early for your shift. Your life is lived in routine. You check in, you talk to Carl the CCTV operators, you have a cup of coffee in the cafeteria. Today, you also see an enraged employee storm out of the building having been fired.
Your shift is long and boring, and you somehow wish for more excitement in your life.

The next day you turn up for your shift and, when talking to Carl, it is revealed that a lot of the work force have been suffering from food poisoning since lunch. Some of them are still in the bathrooms now. You are told that you should search the building to make sure no one needs medical attention.
On your search, you find that what these people are sick with, it is much worse that mere food poisoning. They try to attack you, but you fight back. Some of the poisoned workers escape the facility and go out in to the city. As you try to chase after them, you meet Carl again, who has been fighting off attacks from the workers while you've been gone. He is injured, and looking at little ill but he is still 'human'. As he leads you out of the facility, he finally tips over the edge and tries to kill you (Boss Fight!)

Having killed Carl, you go out in to the city. Your first move is to warn your girlfriend, Michelle, of the imminent attack. She is worried about you and tells you to go to your parent's house and protect them; you are also to call her when you get there.
You fight across the city to your parent's house. You defend the house from a horde of attacking zombies, but not well enough. Your parents are poisoned and turn into zombies and you have to kill them. Then you call Michelle. She can see the invasion of poisoned people outside and knows she won't hold out for long.
You travel across the city to find her. On the way, you meet other survivors who are banding together to form a resistance.
Eventually, you get to Michelle's apartment and rescue her. You and her then join the resistance so that you can fight your way to an airfield. Once there, you meet a hostage taken by the resistance, Erwin Breshnev, the man fired from Ryachem the previous day. It is revealed that he was the one who poisoned the workers at Ryachem. You are livid; he is responsible for not only the death of Carl, but also of your parents. However, you can't kill him because he is being forced at gun-point to engineer an antidote to the poison, which can be sprayed from the air over the city.
He must defend the airfield from a large attack. Erwin finishes his antidote, and is immediately detained. You must escort Erwin to be executed. However, he takes Michelle hostage and tries to escape. Suddenly, a zombie that survived the attack lurches at them both and poisons them. You must kill Erwin before it is too late. You do so.
Michelle is doomed. Having been injured by the zombie, there is nothing more you can do to save her...unless...the antidote! You must the antidote and give it to Michelle. It will prove if it works or not. Thankfully, it does. The rest of the antidote is loaded into a transport plane (Hercules, perhaps?) and sprayed over the city.
Those poisoned people will recover within a few hours, and there will be no long lasting damage to them. A new day dawns. You face it with the only important person left in your life; Michelle.
The End.
AE made it.
