Dark GDK .NET / Having A Problem With SetWindowOn / SetWindowOff

I am calling SetWindowOn / SetWindowOff within my game loop. When I do this I get a black screen with a mouse pointer on it. My cameras output is no longer being sent to the game window. If I call setWindowOn or off before my main game loop starts everything works fine. However I would like to be able toggle full screen mode on or within my game.
