I'll give it a shot. I finished my model a few days ago, just have to make my participation official.

Modeled in Blender. Texture created in Gimp. Baked lighting rendered in Blender.

EDIT: Guys, the Winner(s) might have a delay in the creation of the custom models. Reason being that my pc got a virus, had to be wiped and i have no Modelling/Texturing program at this time, although,

1st place: Asteric.
His model was very good including the texture. The texture was just great! It was high quality and good looking. Good job Asteric!

2nd place: Kravenwolf.
It is a useful model and is high quality. But the texture just couldn't beat Asteric. Other then that, the texture is good and the model was great.

3rd place: Red eye.
The idea was good and the model was good but the problem was... the bad texture. I don't blame you for that. I texture even worse! But it isn't good. But you are still 3rd place so good luck with that.

Good luck everyone! And remember, I'm always fair when judging.

I think you mean normal map But, it's all good. Not bad for a first contest I suppose. But for the future, you should consider scoring based on the other attributes that go into making a model as well, other than just the texture. Otherwise my next entry will be a 2x4 with a normal map
