Howdy,
I'm still pretty noob-ish-- I wonder if any of you guys know how to get the models in say the WW2 character entity library to use the extra/alternate skins that are in the library without exporting the models to milkshape, re-loading the .dds file into paintshop pro and cropping then saving as a targa file and re- combobulating the model and skin in the texture editor of milkshape and re assymbling it in FPSC toolbox-- which is what I've been doing.
I tried choosing an alternate texture or assigning a new one in the entities drop down menu after right clicking it but it doesn't like that.
What I'm saying is, there are these nice extra skins in the entity library folder-- I assume to use or they wouldn't be there, and I wonder (since I'm the guy who couldn't make the doors open remotely a few weeks ago) if there is a regular, easy way to make them show up on say the "Officer" or "Tommy" or "Thug" .x model without going the long way around ??
kind regards, mark_p

right click the entity, click the texture box, and browse for the folder with the alternate skins, select it, and voila!

just go to fpsc folder-files-entitybank-ww2-characters and find lets say thug unarmed.fpe and change the texture name in there
