FPSC Classic Scripts / [LOCKED] prximity alarm script help please

in the proximity alarm thread there is a script snippet, can you post the script file instead of the snippet, i dont know how to put it into script form

You need to read the community guide, search for tutorials, and etc before posting all of these requests you have. They're really quite simple, and can all be learned in a matter of minutes if you take the time. I doubt people will be so eager to help you in the future if you keep saying you don't know how for things this simple.

Copy the snipplet into a notepad file. Save the notepad file in your scriptbank as follows: proxyalarm.fpi

Find your scriptbank here:

C/Program Files/The Game Creators/FPS Creator/Files/scriptbank

Now whatever you have to apply the script to to make it work, right click on that object or light or whatever it is, and change the main script to proxyalarm.fpi

i tried that! i tried editing thr flashlight script with it, but for some reason it messed up and didnt include the hud, i dont know why but it saved as a text documed not a script (yes i included the .fpi)
so what did i do wrong?

change the "Save as type" field to "All files". What exactly were you trying to do with my script?

with the flashlight, i tried to make the light smaller in my game, didnt work and with this script i just didnt know how to put it into script form, so all i havto do is change it to all files?

Type the name of your file : "proxyalarm.fpi" in the filename area in the save as dialogue box in Notepad as shown in the Dar13 screen shot.
