Open the .dds texture file in a paint program and start editing?

If it is installed to the root directory, wich is should be, it would be in files/entitybank/model pack 4/characters or something similar. If you use CS3 like I do, you will need to get the nVidia dds plugin. Then you can open like a normal .psd file. Im not sure if any other programs have pluggins/support dds.

NOTE: Every pixel has to be your own to release (or sell, Im not sure)

but after exporting, i get a lot of options in Photoshop like Alpha channel, 32 bit, blablabla. Do you know what should i check and what should i uncheck to make it suitable for fpsc?

Uhh... Is that so? I mean, I made a stomach ripped open version of the fat zombie, and uploaded it in my retexture thread. No one complained... So I thought I was allowed to do that. But if not, then...

My blood pack will have 500 blood overlays some day! I hope...

You don't have to keep posting the same question in seperate forums...

@Sekoidiootti:

It has to be completely re-textured if you're selling it. It's ok if you release it for free.
