i bought the program knowning i have windows vista, thus when i try to make a game it gives me an error saying something about not having the right compatible direct3d divice

A chipset is in simplest form another name for a card it could be anything. I think you mean an integrated chipset.

Like i said before ask all questions in the thread i gave you that is the location for this stuff.
