Horror Model Request Thread [Taking Model Requests]


I recently opened my GC store account, and have spent the last week or so, on and off, seaching the forums and the main model request sticky for some original horror models requests. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find many aside from more zombie characters, and was hoping the community would be able to help me get a selection started for my store account.

Request Guidelines:

I have the right to refuse any request.

I’m only looking for horror-themed media requests at this time. Please DO NOT make requests for sci-fi, or any other genre aside from horror.

DO NOT request characters or weapons. I'm only looking for 'scenery' ideas at the moment. Rusty chains, body bags, etc.

Please post as many requests you have. But please understand I may or may not use some or any of your requests.

Screenshots or images of the model you have in mind are not required, but would be a big help, and will most likely be modeled before requests without reference pictures.

Models I add to my store account based off your request(s) in this post, will obviously be available to the community for points. However, to show my appreciation for the concept of the model, the person(s) who suggested said model(s) will be given a download of the model(s) they suggested FREE.

Well, I'm not sure this is terribly "horror", but I just had a request that I wanted to throw out there.
Something that would be of great use and value I think, and could be used over and over in different ways, is a small pack of wires/cables (some short, some medium, some long), perhaps some ranging from dipping down just a little, to dipping down a lot.
And as well, little power boxes or pipes, just simple ones, that the cables could protrude from and go to.

I've attached a photo to demonstrate sort of the lines I'm thinking along.

Just an idea man, love the work you're doing already though! Keep it up

Remember, I'm encouraging everyone to post their requests by giving the person that suggested a model or model pack theme a free download before it goes on sale in the store. What's a horror game without a dark, stinking sewer? Some rusty/bloody pipes would be very good, curved/straight, big and small. Some small pipes which could be placed on a wall would be nice too (http://jschumacher.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/pipes1.jpg). Also some body parts would be cool, like heads and arms and such.

I would like an old TV in three sizes and with a texture variation to make them broken screened.

texture the same, but with a variation that makes just the screen broken
model with 3 variations of sizes

How about dogs that have been cut up?

Slaughtered as such.

Imagine going through a house, all calm and quiet and then you walk into a dark room, turn on your light and there's just a bloody mess everywhere.

You don't have to do dogs, but other slaughtered animals? Maybe cows for rituals?

gore pieces
barbed wire
movie theatre

tv pack
torture mechanisms (like in saw) pack

(these are not requests, they are suggestions)
all of these have already been made, but they are old and i bet you could make them better

@beachard5, definitely agree, can never have enough grunge, creepy looking furniture for a scene.

@john need a new name, those are good ideas, not sure about all them but I know there are good playground models for sale in the TGC store already. Nice ones too, good horror textures.

@Kerrby, you should check out Bond1's latest model pack, MP22, has some fantastic "slaughtered dog" gibs.

And Kravenwolf, can't wait to see more man!

@beach- yep love the grunge and sanitarium is perfect i ditto him

@brad - thanks, i was just spewing random things, i know most of them were bland, and yea i know most of them you can find elsewhere, lol i just need more to list cause when i said ramble i could make the list too short lol
but the actual reccomendations were
bloody mirrors, asylum pack, horror hospital pack, theatre pack, school pack, tv pack , and torture mechines, and yea ive found hospital, school and theatre packs, but i would love to see them in his quality


@kerrby...i have 2 dogs...that creeps me out, and human corpse are scarier anyways...

Thanks everyone for all of the requests. Please keep them coming, and keep watching this thread for updates Unfortunately, I'm not looking for any character-related requests at this time (dead bodies, gibs, etc), due to the extended time and work it would take to complete them.

Hey Kravenwolf, had a question man. What do you think about doing horror style Skyboxes? Like a creepy, city skybox at night with dark, towering buildings all around with little yellow lights on here and there on the buildings?

that means i love you in animal language, OMG! ive been needing this bathroom stall forever!!!!
2 questions

1 can you make different versions (rust in different areas, or bloody, or maybe completly metal like in silent hill, or maybe a version without rust also )

2 can you make it scripted so its openable

also is each stall a seperate entity?

(if you make stuff like toilet paper, and sinks , etc, and make a full bathroom, i will probably loose conscious for about 2-3 hours lol )

cant wait to see asylum pack

Got a couple requests. Maybe these have been done before, but I still think they'd be good in a horror genre.

1. Candles. Some half-used, some completely used, some not used at all. Different colors, too.

2. Candleholders for # 1 above.

3. New windows. Kinda like the ones from the house in Amityville horror on the top floor?

4. Broken stairs. Like a set of stairs that either goes up or down, but is missing rails and steps in the middle of it, making it impossible to continue using them.


And a quick question - who got credit for the books?

No, but you need to be more specific with requests.


Leon, those are some good ideas. I think I will create some candles and candle holders, and add them to the book models, and just start up a 'haunted house pack' as some kid mentioned. If you have any specific ideas for this pack, or any other model pack requests, please post them

John, I'm making alternative rust textures for the stalls. I'm not going to script them to open because that would also require animating, and I want to keep these requests pretty straightfoward for the time being. I may have them animated to open prior to the public release of this pack, but not anytime soon.

The stalls are seperate entities. There are actually two different entities in the screenshot. One of a stall with the door closed, and the other entity is a stall with the door broken off and lying on the ground. Thanks for all the great ideas. Keep them coming!

hey kravenwolf are you making an old style asylum pack right so its pretty much a sanitarium if you are making it old style because thouse items in the picture look old sanitarium stuff just like the picures on google lol nice job with that real creepy

yes kraven i got that that there diffent but the in the picture it looks like an old sanatorium thats all i was saying but it would be very Scary for an old sanatorium pack; sorry if i sound like im demanding this pack just wanted give more description on this. If u dont want to do it than thats fine than it will be the last time i will talk about this idea
