Newcomers DBPro Corner / SOME!! textures will not show up. Please help...

OK, this is whats up...
when I use the textures I created they show on my models.
When I use the textures from DarkBasic site Free Resources page, they will not show up on my models. I'm trying to get a realistic set of textures but they will not work. Maybe i'm not doing something right. Thanks for any words of advice.

1- are they all the same format? all jpgs or all bmps
2- do they all have the same color depth?
3- do they show ok in the modeler but not in DBP or they don't show in both?
4- are the textures in the same folder as the models?
