Newcomers DBPro Corner / Dark Basic Development

Hi all,

I've tried out Dark Basic Pro, and am considering purchasing it along with a few add-ons. But then I run across the statement

'Please note that development of DarkBASIC has now stopped, and that no new version will be released.'

What does this exactly mean? I don't want to invest in an engine that may soon be obsolete!

That's the original Dark Basic 'Classic' version - DBPro is still being updated and improved.
