FPS Creator X10 / bump on walls give off licht?

hi all
i was experimenting wall segments and bump.
but wene i Add bump to it gives off light ow can thise be?

i dont understand... do you mean there is no light (you placed) but in-game it gives light?

wel i have a wall segment,but when i add this bump to the wall it doesn't Response any more to light,it just stay the same like on the picture

okay, i had this problem too, i used my own way to solve this. i just made _D _N _S (diffuse, normal and specular mapping) and solved...

i know more ways. but msn or email is usefuller then

I'm pretty sure you don't need to have the N and S maps in the .fps file. Try taking those out, and make sure that you have the right effect.

You don't need to mention all of them in the .fps...texture0 is all you need. Also, you don't need the d2 texture, you can erase it.

I know what the problem is. You need to add a transparent alpha channel to the specular map. If it doesn't have it, the texture will glow in the dark. That's how you can have segments and entities with lights on them; make that section on the alpha channel white and it glows in the dark.
So yeah, just give the specular map a black alpha channel and it should be fine.
