What kind of scripting do i need to learn to edit and produce my own scripts--

like books

software

stuff like that

im gonna teach myself how to script

what do i need?

There is no books or stuff like that, but there are guides here on the forums that can help you.

Or I could help\teach you, as I have plenty of time here in bed.

If you can't figure it out theres always my tutoring service for $2.50USD an hour which might seem like a lot but could probably be taught in about three hours.

I find the best way to learn scripts is to read them. you'll understand easily what the functions are, and soon be able to script. just ask what stuff you just dont get means

learining how to script is very easy, it will just take a while so u could get used to different statements.. took me less than a week till I was able to program an AI from scratch and come up with scripts of my own..

I recommend u start with Nicky's community guide, start by learning the ABC of scripting wich is the (stats), then take as much as u need to understand the different scripting statements (u'll find them in the guide as well)..
after download custom scripts for any purpose and try to analyse them line by line, the moment u understand them ur ready..
