hi all
this post is about what you like to see added in fps x10
example:soft particals or soft shadows or anything you like

for me
i like to see a groter grid,so you can make your lvl bigger.
and of course i wil like to see soft particals.

Above all, I'd love to see a major efficiency upgrade and an upgrade allowing for controlling gameplay mechanics. By default the basic gameplay "feel" should be similar to CoD4 or at least Halo 3, you know? That would mean being able to edit dozens of options.

Hmm... Aha!! How about a terrain editor. X10 is powerful enough to use it, but it's just so dang hard to get terrain to work with FPSC.

the feel definately needs avast improvement I agree.

My main gripe is the lack of information and tools to get your own custom media into the game.

I would pay $100 for soemthing that would allow me to easily get a weapon in game.

I would, above all, like to see a guide to creating custom media. Next on my list is relief mapping for segments. I could probably go on and on, but those are the major two. I would like to see airmod features integrated (ironsights, attachments etc.)

-One thing I'd like to see is customizable soft decals (even though that's already been said)
-Also, customizable flak. Right now, the only flak you can use are the existing ones and you can't create your own (for those who don't know, flak is what comes out of guns when you shoot them- the bazooka's missile, the grenade you throw, etc. Regular guns like pistols and such don't use flak, they use decals instead)
-Free relief mapping (relief mapping to work on anything, not just dynamic entities)
-Above all, I'd like documentation on how to use every feature in X10 and what their limitations are. I don't like being forced to grope in the dark when trying out a new feature, hoping that it works the way I want it to.

I've gotten weapons working in X10, I've made 2 simple ones so far - Send me a pm on the community forum and I can explain it to you there since I haven't gotten around to making a tutorial about it yet.

I above all would like to see when things are picked you see hands ... i know i can do this by myself but for those that cant it'd be nice and also vehicles

There already is shortcuts, for example 'M' goes into wall painting mode and 'F' goes into floor painting mode. While you're in the map editor, hold F1 and this little help screen with good shortcuts pops up. Try it.

NVidia PhyX and CUDA compatibility.
(If you could get CUDA to do the compiling and building the .exe part, it would work 4 times faster or so, if possible).

Maybe billboard objects.
(You know the flat 4 pixel thing with a picture of a tree or a mountain on them...)

How about putting in more than 2 factions + neutral.
(Enemy, Enemy2, Enemy3, Neutral, Neutral Aggressive, Friend, Friend2 [not controlled by you]).

I think a way to get enemies explode into gore (like in gears of war) would be awesome. But can't mods do that?

i think most important is gaming area, being able to make it much wider for outdoor scenes maybe by cutting the level height to say 10up and 100 squared or shape it so that the wider you make it the shallower it gets this way each level can be more varied and different. and hopefully without any performance drop. but then im still a bit of a novice. but that would appeal to most people i think.

an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!
