Hey everybody, I made a small little video tutorial on how to import all your Maps you have created in 3ds max into FPSC as well as getting it playable.

Goto http://gamerz-utopia.com/download.php?view.3

You do not need to register to download this tutorial.

I hope this helps a lot of you guys out who don't know how to do it yet.

Essal - Yup, I figured well, you can make more detailed maps with an external source. Nothing wrong with FPSC, just limited to what you can make with just segments.

Voltlight - It's for (full maps) or any kind of entity its self actually, it is essentially for just maps. But it can be done with Guns, etc. As well. But this only goes into detail for maps.

Thanks........ Sweet I was wondering how you all went about doing it to make it seem *more in game* idk, I may stick with tryin to get the realisim of my cutscenes the best I can in 3ds max. But I didn't think about importing .x into max, that's a good idea .

I also have other kinds of tutorials on site as well if y'all would like to check them out. ALL downloads do not require a registration.

So learn as much as you can about FPSC and Max (they are all VIDEO tutorials) .

There is an x importer available for Max, sure I found it on the maxplugins.de site, the Okino plug-in also imports selected x data to Max.

welll... because a map is made by very much .X's ... but DBP makes it one whole map out of the small entitys ... it is called a .dbo [darkbasic object]...

This is how you could do it...

Folow this link and watch it till you find out how to get the .dbo. [with textures]
http://www.darkgamestudio.com/movies.php

then

- Grab Fragmotion (only program that has a .dbo importer.

Load it up with Textures.

Export it as a obj. or 3DS i recommend 3DS.

Load it up into 3dsmax...

Now you can do EVERYTHING really EVERYTHING with it.

- Camara effects
- Bloom
- Fog
- Any type of shaders.
- More polygons.

Everything

Now

- Render a avi or wmv

Good luck
