Is it possible to have many weapons at every start in multiplayer? Like having blaster and shotgun and machine gun every spawning. And is it possible to change that Multiplayer Frags: 0/15 to Kills: 0/15?

To get multiple weaponss just place those weapons below the character that you want to have those weapons.
Then every time they spawn they'll get those weapons.

...there is a much less clumsy way to assign multiple weapons at startup:

Any number of weapons can automatically, invisibley and silently be added to the
player's inventory at startup, by this method...

I think I didn't understand some things of Seth Black's script. Can I put anywhere (unable to pick up place) weapons and still a player who spawns gets every weapon I placed. Does that weapon disappear then? And I have some problems with that weapon spawning system because I could get that properties work correctly.

...here's a clarification.

1. Because of the 4000 unit range, the player should always be instantly able to activate the pickup. Because of this, you can place the weapon pickups out of sight, and they will still be activated.

2. These weapon pickups will disappear, once activated. That's really not a problem for Single gameplay, as weapons will be retained, throughout the level.

For Muliplayer use, they can be set through their properties to respawn, so every player should be equipped immediately when they spawn into the level.

3. To use the script:

I. Place the weapon pickups in a remote area of the level

II. Open the Properties for each pickup, and set

MAIN SCRIPT = MONDO WEAPON PICKUP.fpi

Hopefully, that'll answer your questions...

You have it set up correctly. The delay of 3000 is a bit much though. That will take a while to respawn...Try 250.

If the entity is set to not spawn at start, then another entity would need to activate it for it to start spawning. But since you're in multiplayer, it would be better if you just had them spawn at start since scripts don't work very well in MP.

The best way to find out is to try it.

Arent there several problems with the proposed script? Any player can take it, It wont work more than once, and at the start of the level the weapon, provided its range covers the whole map, will be taken by only 1 player, so he'll have an advantage.

I haven't tested this yet, but considering dynamic entities are not kept in-sync between clients... when it's picked up by another player, the weapon would still be there for everyone else, just not the person who picked it up.

MP was a hack job at the last minute before FPSC was released. Or so it would seem. I don't recall it being on the initial list of features for FPSC back before it came out.

TGC clearly doesn't enjoy MP in FPSC. This may be due to needing proper servers for a full-on multiplayer experience, which they obviously don't want to set up JUST for FPSC, considering how many different games would be attempting to run off of such few servers.
