Whenever I texture my objects, it basically doesn't put any of the details of my texture, and I really don't know why this is.

The texture I'm using:

The outcome:

The code I'm using to texture my model:

Hey, Minnesota.

This is just a guess, but I think that your myobj.x uv coordinates are all set to zero.

Possibly an export problem?

Whatever...

I've never had problems with exporting from Blender in the past.

No matter what texture I use, it doesn't look right, like the pictures I've shown. It looks fine in Blender.

That doesn't work either... Whatever I give up.

This is really disappointing, I can't complete an easy task for reasons unknown.

Don't give up.

Post your model and texture. Someone will figure it out.

Did you set cull off and resize it?

Ah. I just did and it shows up, but the texture isn't working. But you shouldn't even need to set cull off-- something's up with your model I think.

Rotate it 270 along the X axis and you shouldn't need cull.

Whenever I have to manually texture an object in-game, it is a red flag that there is very possibly something wrong with the object itself. (This assumes, of course, that the object and texture are in the same folder.) I was able to get the object to texture in DBP. I don't know why I was able to get it to work, because I did the same things you did.

I did load the model into Milkshape, textured it and exported it as an .x file and it worked without manually texturing it in-game.

The object you are using is very high-poly (28,800). I would suggest making a simple plane, texturing it and exporting it and see if it will work in DBP. I have had texture issues in DBP when the object is high-poly, so it's worth a shot. If you have the object and texture in the same folder and it won't show up in-game, then I would suggest you look at your method for exporting (sorry, I use Milkshape, so I cannot help with Blender).

I've tried it with planes before too, before I made a more detailed one, and to no avail. I'll just try what you did.

In order to get textured in DBP, the model has to have UV texture settings "set" in the modeler even though not directly textured there.
dunno if applying scale object texture in DBP may be a workaround to (re)set mapping coordinates directly from DBP.
