I got a little excited at first.... but the texture

Haha, the model itself looks pretty good but it really needs a new texture.

Quite good, have you animated it or anything or is it just a mesh?

...no texture or animation...yet! i'm trying to texture it but when i apply the texture it just makes it a solid color like green or red. the tex is 512 by 512 so i dont know whats wrong.
anyways im working on finishing my elite.dont get all your hopes up though, because it's a major pain in the ass.

Have you UV Mapped the model? If you haven't, that could cause the solid color.

Also might want to remove those asterisks, the mods have been cracking down on those if I'm correct...

You can just use the PRINT SCREEN key, paste it into paint, and save as a JPG.

Can you elaborate on your UV map problem? I don't get it

Wow, you are a beast modeler. Will there be downloads for these models once they are ready? I look forward to seeing a texture. Feel free to send me a UV Map of the model and I'll try to work on a texture.

Some people say that I'm crazy... And I agree.

Quite a few triangles there dude. I heard you should stay away from triangles in your model, but to be honest, I don't know why, they don't mess up the model or anything.

Looking fantastic, when it's textured, it will look awesome.

You make a model out of triangles, and "quite a few" is a relative term. To me, it looks fairly low poly for a character model.

Are you guys easily fooled? The geometry for both models match the ones that are on Halo Combat Evolved for the PC! You think I'm lying
but I'm not. Go ahead AAGreen. I'm sure you can back me up if you
model yourself... or for anyone else here. They match perfectly.
I would like to see some background checks into this guy.

Hang on, If they weren't his models and he just got them from a Halo PC game, then he would have put the textures on as well!

If I were you, I'd make a game...

Unless he isnt skilled enough to successfully do stuff.

I'm keeping my mouth shut. I've been wrong about this kind of stuff many times.
