Newcomers DBPro Corner / Can't load objects

I can't load any object into my game except for cubes and spheres! Not even bitmaps! Can someone help me? (I've already put the files in the media list, and I put the in the same folder as the project.)

Sorry if I sound like a n00b, but I just installed DBPro today.

ow! that hurt!

if you wanna load an object, you do:

Load Object Filename, Object Number

if you wanna load an image, you do:

Load Image Filename, Image Number

The filenames can be relative ("Images\Example.png") or Absolute ("C:\Program Files\Example.png"

If you want to load an object or an image, you don;t need to include them in the media list, only if you wanna pack them in your exe.

Also, if you press F1 in the DBP Editor, you get a help screen, which is very handy for looking up commands. good luck!

And yet it refuses to load it. The error says it can't load the object:

Im going to go out on a limb and say that rocket.x is IN your project folder? If it isnt, make sure it is. If it is, then I have no clue, maybe the directX file is corrupt or something.

i had same promblem. are you opening your soruce fiel or project file. after one update you have to open up the dbpro file otherwise it wont load media.
