Hey the problem i am having is:
-I finish a model in milkshape
-Hit export
-Find directx(jt)
-Fill in all the settings CORRECTLY
-Hit save......and boom it crashes

Milkshape only crashes when i try to export as a directx(jt)skin and bones format.Every other format works but this one. Any idea on how to fix this problem? Or is there another format that i can export my weapons to work with fpsc?

Configuration i used attached

Hmm, I would back up the file and try a reinstall.

Already did...even went into hidden folders and got rid of everything associated with it.

I didn't know you splined positions and rotations. My weapons always came out good without it.

I mean positioning the gun in milkshape so its in the right location in fpsc. i got one gun to look okay...but it took like 2 hours Now i use it as reference for others, yet its still a pain to get everything right.

I agree, the positioning in FPSC is confusing.

Yes, I have had problems with this. The best thing to do would be to download Fragmotion and use this to convert one of the stock guns or a gun with arms into milkshape. This way you can see where it is positioned on a gun that already works within FPSC.

Also I would make a point to make sure that the gun is in the right position before you start animating otherwise you will have alot of problems with the key frames not moving.
Hope this helps!
