Can you reccomend any good anti-adware and anti-spyware programs that are adware/spyware/virus free, (Well, that would defeat the purpose), preferably free? Not that I think I have adware or spyware. I'm real careful, and hardly ever download stuff. I'm even hesitant to download stuff from DB users. You can never be too sure though.

I have heard of "Ad-Aware" and "Spybot Search and Destroy". Are these good? Just want to know before I try them.

Thanks

Get Ad-aware. It is good, and even better - free

You shouldn't need both, coz they do the same thing.

Ok... Let's see if I can get enough courage to actually download it. I'm totally paranoid.

I installed ad-aware. I scanned twice and found like 600 objects. Most were cookies or registry. No serious threats. Feel alot better now.
