FPSC Classic Scripts / spawning each time an entity using trigger zone

i know how to spawn an entity using trigger zone. But i want to know that is it possible whenever the player spawns the entity resets?

I mean like when u step in a trigger zone it spawns an entity, But if the player dies, the enemy is still spawing, I don't want this. I want the entity NOT to spawn after player dies, i want it to act like the one they do when the GAME starts. Wondering any way to do so that it will activate an entity when the player enters an trigger zone even if the player dies.

My main reason to do this is: When I (player) enters the trigger it spawn enemy and when i die, position resets, the enemy seems to steel shooting at me and i can't be alive for even 2 sec. Player dies, position rests and again, position resetd and so on.

If u know a better way to do this, plz let me know

ummmmm... you might need some scripting help for this.
i'm no expert, but if there's a "ifplrrespawn" command (or something along those lines)you might be able to add that to the trigger zone script you're using.

ask in the scripting section.

Heres a method;
Place a trigger zone at the players spawn location. Make it so that this zone sets a variable to 1. In the script for the entity's that are spawned, add code so that if the variable is 1, they are destroyed immediately. Then, for the trigger zone you wish to spawn them from, add code to the script that will set the variable to a different value, e.g. 0. This should work.

If you are using the plrinzoneactivateifused.fpi then it gets reset every time you leave the triggerzone.

if you make a new .fpi to be used in your triggerzone which just reads:



then it will not activate again if you enter it numerous times. At least I don't think it will

I have another idea and i think this is easy than i wrote in my first post (Back to top)

Here is the idea:

//Make the player ignore hurts by entity for 5 secends

Can this b happen? This will b very useful in team fights (single player) cuz whenever the player repawns entity keeps hurting it.

it is not possible for me to downgrade my fpsc bcz my current project files will not work in the previous version of fpsc.

I will use chocolate fpsc in my next fpsc game project.
