Let me set the scene for you...

Picture this:

Your in an epic battle, against the enemy, you, your squad, and your allies, are trying to fight back against the enemy attack, but it is a losing battle, there are just to many of them, you attempt to rally your men into a defensive position (pressing F), suddenly, everyone one your side starts crowding you, rather than fighting, the completely surround you, so you can't move.

Basically, here's my question. Can you set some of your allies to not be under your control? Other wise the above occurs, and that seems somewhat detrimental to the game.

I do not know if there is a way to have allies that are not controlled. If there is not, there should be.

Do allies in x10 use .fpi scripts or are they hard codded? If they use .fpi scripts post it on here and I can see what I can do.

@hockeykid
In fps creator x10, there is a drop down box in entity editing mode that allows you to set the AI to: Neutral, Friend, Enemy(default).

So i'm gonna guess they don't use .fpi scripts? Maybe the "Neutral, Friend, Enemy" options give it a script path depending on what you choose. Check your script bank and see if you can find anything relating to allies.

@hockeykid: FPSC x10 using DarkAI, so no .fpi. .fpi's do work however.

Check out Gamer X's AI Upgrade thread in the X9 scripts forum and see if you can get that to work in X10. If it does then perhaps hockeykid or Gamer X could help you out.

I think you may be able to script the darkai.fpi file.
