Well, I decided to work on a little side project to end of the world while my friend shows me the rest of the story to EOTW. So, I decided to make A little map to try out some of cosmic prophets country models, and I fleshed it out into a full-blown game.

Genre: WW2 tactical horror. (Weird, I know.)

Story: You, private Tyler A. Walker, have been sent to infiltrate a nazi cabin in northern germany. but something is wrong. noone is here. but It seems that they were here, just seconds ago. it seems... inhabited. not previously, but now. that was one month ago. now, you are desperatly trying to find shelter as hellish creatures ravage the earth. death is everywhere, and you have to escape. from normandy to egypt, find out what has happened and how to stop it!

Looks nice so far dude. One thing though, the fire in the fireplace is a little funky there Try changing that to decalflat.fpi

the lights on the lamps at the front door are higher up than them so theres a shadow being cast donw from above the lamps you may want to change that as well

Great start though dude

Btw, where'd u get those great fences?

Ok, thanks for the Comments! I think I got the fence from fps Free, but im not sure. I have new screenshots, too, so Ill post 'em in a second.

One more tip, are you using shaders?...if you are, add illuminationmap.fx in the effect box on your lamps and such, makes them all lit up

Go to file at the top of the editor, click preferences, there should be an option, no shader efx, or full shader efx. Whichever one is checked, thats how you change texture resolution and all that.

Note these settings only work for test builds, not for final builds

Looks cool. In screen two there is this fence and some plants behing it. If you put some trees behind the plants, that would make some reallism into your game.

Thanks! Im glad you like it. I am currently working on the second level, and I was getting a rate of 2 fps. It's probably because of all the grass, you guys think so? I removed all the grass and I am about to try it.

O, I just redid the second level, with a new rate of 19-25 FPS! on a fairly slow computer, I might add. Well, not THAT slow, but probably average. Here are some screens.
and yes, the Plants truly are... the end of the world... map-wise... BUM BUM BUMMMMM

Lol, Im planning on it being an ebandoned railroad track, which they stopped building because winter arrived, so they blocked off untill summer. If you look back in the level, here will be a Tonnel, but you cant go in, via invisible wall.

I know, that is an old one. the objective here is to get to the helicopter. I am done with that level and will post a new screen soon! even finished the .ico icon! just need to finish the menu. and the next five levels. not much though! im working fast!

They used helicopters in WW2, look it up. your friends hijacked a german fa-223 to rescue you. here are some new screens, no lighting yet on this level, though.

yeah, im scrampling with details of how to make it different. dont expect that many updates for the next week or so, as Im on vacation, but I have a copy of FPS creator on a memory stick and I am working on putting a real quick demo together.

Almost done with 6/8 levels! sorry, having trouble on my aunts computer, but I'll get some more screens son. also working on a secret project. well, not so secret, as It is for the competition, yeah, the ultimate one.

EDIT: SOOOO SORRY! almost impossible to get past the second level in the game. I'll take out the sniper, then repost a link.

I played the demo,it was nice,though the TGC cyclops mutant freaks should be replaced,more lights should be placed and I couldnt get past the trees in the level where u gotta go to the helicopter.Also had quite some lag there.

Oh, you couldnt get past the trees? sorry 'bout that. I'll take out the blood trails and remove some trees. The mutants are Demons, so what should I replace them with? I have twenty seven dollars to spare on the TGC store.

I think the best pick would be bond1 zombies in my opinion.High quality and they never let you down.Best 20$ ive ever spent besides Orange Box.

OK, I have 37 dollars to spare now, cousin gave me some, I will use the 17 dollars for bond zombies in the TGC store, and the other 20 to buy project blue.
