question 1: OKKKK.... i just installed model pack 5 for fps creator x10 because its seems that they were done with the beta and all the other packs were fine, it was jsut until this pack that all of the sudden it gives me the message:

Error - Windows cannot find 'FPSC - Map Editor.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again.

This was right after starting the game up.
Help?

question 2: is there a reason why everytime i try to start the player off with a weapon from the additional model packs the weapon doesnt show up and i cannot shoot them, but on the other hand after switching between two weapons after picking a weapon up they all the sudden pop up?

P.S. i hate vista even though this probably has nothing to do with vista.

1. Did you download the New X10 installer from your order history??

If you use an older installer for model pack 5 that may be the source of you map editor not working... model pack 3 & 5's old installers use to contain patches for FPS Creator... SO Make sure you download the latest installers.

2. Again this maybe do to using order model pack installers...

My suggestion is to un-install everything ... go to your order history on the Game Creators Website and download the latest pack installers..

then re-install update to 1.09... and install the model pack packs with the new installers from the website..

For #2 I am also experiencing this. I have no model packs installed and using the latest beta. Hopefully it is just a glitch in the beta.

There is no current Beta... if you read Lee's notes in the 1.09 thread you'll find that 1.09 is final now..

To get the final version (if you have the 1.09 Beta installed)... simply open up your FPS Creator X10 folder.. Double click the Version.ini file... edit it to read 1.08..

Then Launch FPS Creator X10.... Click help and then use the update feature to bring your version of FPS Creator X10 up to date with Version 1.09 Final..

I just did the update and FPS Creator still does that. Here is my player start marker.



Once I walk over a weapon then the one I assigned to my player comes up briefly, then drops down and the weapon i walked over comes up.

Is this weapon right in front of the player when they spawn?

No the weapon that they pickup is in another room. Tonight I can create a video of the error and post it on youtube.

Just reinstall FPS Creator X10, it should work because when you reinstall, it'll reinstall the map editor.

A mod has been ENGULFED by your signature - Please reduce it to 600x120 maximum size to allow mods to continue with their jobs.

-Er... Did I read that wrong?
