Here is the script you should want to edit:

(weapon.fpi)

Is there any command to make the game over without reducing plr's health?

Can you plz suggest a line of code that can make the game over if ammo equals to 0?

Thanks...

I don't think the weapon.fpi script will help - all that does is let the player pick up weapon entities.

I'm kind of interested if this is possible too.

Don't quote me on this, but I think you'll need a mod to get at the amount of ammunition the player has left for the particular weapon he/she is using.

And this begs the question: What if the player has multiple weapons available to him/her? Are you looking to check if ALL weapons are out of ammunition?

I don't believe there's a command available that keeps track of the amount of ammo the player is carrying. So, there's no way for the script to know when that variable reaches 0.

Is it possible to detect when the player fires?

It is using Ply's mod, with some elaborate scripting.

I hardly think "mouseclick=1" would be considered "elaborate". lol

It would be to me, considering I don't know the first thing about scripting. What is an .fpi file anyway? For that matter, what's a script?
