Story:

You are playing a surviving citizen of the Heafen Incident.
A Incident involving biological weapons.
The darkness of the city and the cruelty out there is crawling over your mind.
It feels like you are blind of what you are doing here.
All you have is fear.
Your goal is to seek the farthest reach of the city and escape to the world outside. Even though many ways have been closed you have done your research and found a path to the outer world.
The journey will be tough but if you are ready to stand against the horrors ahead you'll get there in time.

Demo:
Has currently been put down due to both problems with playing and changes in the original levels put in.

About the game:
The game has been made with primary inspiration from both nightmares as well as dreams i have had.
The gameplay will vary from deep psychological horror to puzzle solving. It will either be cut into chapters (with several games like a trilogy) or be made in one piece.
One thing is certain... The world of dark nights never rests...

Developer: Lucas Dechow ~ Dechow Software.

Why?
I have always wanted to make a Zombie Movie now i see this a chance to outlive one of my greatest nightmares. Of course you cannot get the same intensity unless there is dramatic changes to the game's style but on the other hand i want this game to be ULTRA CREEPY and scarying.
I hope you find this demo statisfying and wanna give me greater ideas on what to come further in the game.
Please tell me about what you wanna see.

Development plan:

Features (in development)
Autosave function
Different damage system (removal of eye hud)
Different HUD look

Levels
Lab Act 1 20 %
Lab Act 2 0 %
Lab Act 3 Epidemic starts 0 %
House Act 1 100 %
House Act 2 100 %
House Act 3 100 %

(Further level plans will come)

BUG REPORTS:

Game not loading properly... something to do with protection?

FIX: Uploading a alternate download now... will take half an hour...

From own tests:
Flashlight bug... Will disturb the ambience at second level and removes the creepiness... Also if you use it for too long your weapon selection will freeze... I recommend only using it in the first level

Freezing bugs... To avoid these please crouch and jump repeadingly when stuck... and remember to save just in case (game has not autosave features yet)

Own Specs:
Fpsc x9 V 1.15 03
Nvdia Geforce 8800 GT
Intel Quad Core Q6600 @ 2.40 GhZ

I downloaded your game. Tried to play it, but all it said on the main menu was; "please read the error.txt for more information". Oh well

Okay... reinstall and run... then find the text file and upload it here or send the specific text stating your fault... (from within the error.txt file)

I would be most grateful if a MOD could change this threads name to it's intended title to avoid confusion with my project.

Thankyou

Okay i think i'll reupload a more stable version.

EDIT:
The reason why it prompted you with the zip thing is because
of a overwrite i did earlier causing my game to crash and become unstable... I created two folders one for a new sample of the game and one for the old. However i did not keep a record of what folder was which so i just took one random (hey im good at 50/50 )

EDIT EDIT:
I'm uploading tomorrow since im gonna be out of town

BTW yeah I was wondering why it was called 'Demon Sun' when I knew COZ already made Demon Sun but then I saw your 1st post and it's ok. Just ask a Mod to change it to 'Dark Knights'.

LOL! I thought that CoZ had somehow stopped making Demon Sun and gave it to you, lol.
Good to hear it was a typo...

My username is finnish, and it translated to english is: "CrazyIdiot" or something.
