I wanted to do a character that had a 50's B movie vibe, or the look from 70s early 80s British sci fi programs, so the look I wanted was something that wouldn't look out of place on a TV programme like Doctor Who.

I call this character Skaro Eve, in inspiration to the the Daleks home planet Skaro.



The concept for Daleks was created by writer Terry Nation after a period of living in Swansea in the UK, a time he found utterly depressing and soul destroying, at the time it was known for many centuries as the poorest area in Britian and known for its poverty and high crime rate. So in coming up with the planet Skaro he was mirroring a place of hopelessness, a dark place of evil, ironically, Swansea was named dark place after the Romans left Britain due to the fact they stationed conscripts from Ethiopia there, when the Romans left, they left these conscripts there who then bred with the local population, hence it became, the dark place.

And the name for his creatures of hate from Skaro, dalek, bearing quite a similarity with the Norwegian word "dårlig", which means "bad" or "evil".

I think my characters would not look out of place in an episode of classic Doctor Who, perhaps as the new Eves of Skaro, slaves to the dreaded daleks.



Perhaps you can create your own story with these characters, I'm sure they will fit your own science fiction game as exciting characters on whatever worlds your imagination creates.

Had this on my HD, seeing as Errant AI has the Knights of Errant pack I thought this kind of fits the theme of sword and sorcery mold.



The style I went for is a kind of late dark age Norse look, I think the patternation on the armour does have a Celtic feel to it as well, its not historically based on any armour style per say, it was made from various parts of textures I had left over and linked together to make an armour set.

Because size really does matter!

Yes, these products are great, and the skyboxes really do look beautiful, especially the Saucer crash, but it's kinda false-advertising if you announce a Give-Away and everything costs money?

There is free content on his website. You just have to go there and click the free content button.

The skyboxes are awesome and add that little extra to any game.

Yes, there is free content, you just have to look for it on the site. Ill stick up a link for the skybox thats free as its a good resource, the example has many differant versions of mapping so its quite usefull.

Its the site thats coming down as I'm an iphone apps developer now, your site is listed on the apple store so I have to get it made for all my apps, both for the product and support, thats why all this is coming off. As for getting it in the future, would be tricky, I make apps now, and I make them quickly, I generally make 2 a week, and I'm hiring so I can make more apps and bigger projects, its not really like I need to be searching around for fpsc content, so its not really best to wait. Thats why I'm putting this here, so you can get it now before its gone.

I am doing OK so far, I have 3 apps out, also I have two in review and one being finished off. So far one app is in the top 100 in its category in 9 countries with the best placement being at 12 for one of them.



On the store, I sent Rick a mail yonks ago about that, I think he forwarded me to some woman that handles that, anyway she never got back to me, so I didn't bother with it.

I have an offer to make, If you can do it, choose 2 skybox (not pack that's 2 skybox) or 1 skin to have for doing it.

Make 2 web templates, scaled for iphone. (all that means is they are at a certain size and positioned top left, not centred like normal web page.

They must be set to the top left, so do not have it centred in the page, it goes to the very far top left.

It will contain a frame set to the sizes above.
On the bottom layer I want a blank .jpg image, so it will be -
frame.jpg
above this I can put in content that I choose within the frame. So be careful not to have the jpg in the frame and then one cannot put anything else in it. the frame.jpg will sit on layer one, above it sits the content. So basically its a web page set to top left, image called frame.jpg on the bottom and the frame fills the template for putting the content I want into it.

Of note, don't use one of those instant web page maker things, I want in to be an 'industry standard' format, those instant web page makers use all kinds of odd ways to make a page, I want the template to be able to be used by standard web page programs, not some weird program that costs 9.99 bargain special instant web page maker, or make a web page online tool that throws out a page in an odd format. So please DO NOT, send a non industry standard template.
So unless its compatible to standard tools like dreamweaver ect, its a no go, so do not send them as it will waste time for me trying to figure out just what you made the template in, and that it looks normal but its something you made on someones myface page with some funny tool. Id sooner really pay a web designer to make it, only paypal transfers from a bank take 9 days, so I an chancing someone here has proper web design tools and wants something from the above in exchange.

By the way, is there any way that I can put 2 or more skyboxes in one game?

I found one of the freebie skyboxes, the image for it was not showing on the web page, so Ive posted it here and the link (see original first post in the thread), its a desert city skybox, its usefull as it has skybox models in lots of formats, single box or 6 sheets and in differant sizes.

Ive just made a new template for my site, so now Ill be putting it together for my new site, so the times counting down now for the availability of these.

It's hard, because the more junk mail is invented, the harsher the filters get and the less likely your serious emails ever get through.

No, these will not be going in the store, like I said, I develop iphone apps, I am extreemly busy doing that, I will not be selling or distributing fpsc content in the future 'ever', so like I said, get them now if you want them, as it is coming down.

Ive just done my new contact form for the site, next I will add my iphone apps, once that is done, the new site gets uploaded, the skins and freebies are going off the server, I leave the skybox store up a few days, then after that, Im taking that off as well.

My site is stripped now, ready for me to add the iphone apps, Ill leave the skybox sets till the 1st, so thats 5 days, less than 5, as we are half an hour from midnight, so thats 4, then I will be taking it down first thing on the 1st, so thats a day gone, so we are talking 3 days. All thats left up is the store for ordering the skyboxes, so Ill leave it up a few days, then that comes off as well.

All you need then is to load them into SKIES to make FPSC content.

As you will see from the 57 skymaps on offer some are very similar to the FALLEN ONES......

Some of those skyboxes are not bad, and seeing as how this is the first of the month, yep thats right, off they go.
