Can anyone help me? I want to give a released prisoner one of the weapons I am carrying. How do I do this when he is released from his cell and before he leaves the dungeon?
Thanks for any help someone gives me.

Well you could create the illusion by destroying the first prisoner and spawn one with a gun in its place.

...couple this with a player drop command, and you've got your illusion...

I hate to burst any bubbles, but there are a couple of teeny, tiny, small problems with this:

1. Where do you place the secondary entity?
2. What happens when the first entity is destroyed and you are nowhere near where the secondary entity is placed?
3. What happens if you give the entity a weapon, and then give him a different one?

1. Since the prisoner will be the player's ally, you can precisely position both the prisoner and his armed clone. Registration via the B Key will work well here to satisfy this part of the illusion.

2. Destruction and spawning of the armed clone can be done via careful planning and seamless scripting. Obviously for the illusion to work, both would need to occupy the same position. The player would initially approach the stationary prisoner, rather than the prisoner approaching the player.

3. Through HUD instruction, storyline, or someother means, the player is instructed to give the prisoner a specific weapon. Obviously, the armed clone would be prearmed with this weapon.

Through scripting, it is possible to provide drop function to a specific weapon, while omitting this feature from another.

Can anyone tell me how to make a prisoner without a weapon disappear and in its place spawn a prisone with a weapon. i\\\'m really not clear on what was given me previously. I have freed a prisone and want him to be able to leave the dungeon with a weapon.
Thanks,

bjay
