1. Since the prisoner will be the player's ally, you can precisely position both the prisoner and his armed clone. Registration via the B Key will work well here to satisfy this part of the illusion.
2. Destruction and spawning of the armed clone can be done via careful planning and seamless scripting. Obviously for the illusion to work, both would need to occupy the same position. The player would initially approach the stationary prisoner, rather than the prisoner approaching the player.
3. Through HUD instruction, storyline, or someother means, the player is instructed to give the prisoner a specific weapon. Obviously, the armed clone would be prearmed with this weapon.
Through scripting, it is possible to provide drop function to a specific weapon, while omitting this feature from another.
