Hey guys, check out this re-texture I through together a while ago, Its a re-texture of the german guy. I also took animations from model pack 4's zombie so I wont be releasing, sorry. So he looks like a zombie, and acts like one.

I think the texture is nice, and it's very high-res 4096x4096
I haven't taken the time to make a level with him yet, though.
What's cool about this re-texture is that it's just a bunch of layers over the original texture, so every german guy texture will become zombie-fied with a mouse click! =more zombie variations

Looks really nice, you might want to scale the texture down though; using a 1024 would be plenty.

Layers are the only way to go when modifying textures.
Even the layers can be swaped out for different combinations when doing pants, jackets, shirts, etc.
Layers can be sold without worrying about copyrights of the original textures.
Yes, layers is the way to go.

Yeah, 4096 is overkill.

4096x4096 is a memory killer. Especially if you have multiple textures at that resolution.

Is there anyway to convince you to release the model itself? Cause this guy would be awesome in just screwwing around and actual games.

BTW, can someone give me a hand, i redid the Warmacht guys texture but i dont know how to apply it, it just keeps turning the char pitch black even though its a .dds, can you help me please?

this is amazing!! combined with one of coz's shaders and maybe if you use your own model instead of the blocky model you retextured you could sell this for like 40$!!! and you gotta talk to kravenwolf, hes making a nazi zombie game, and i bet you could make sweet characters for him!
