i dont think there are any users on this forum who use max 10, but if you take a look at the help files that come with max it tells you how to open them & what they do.i use max 8 so i dont want to tell you wrong if its different in 10 .

cheers henry

Wow, I would of thought that someone who has invested US$3495 for 3ds Max 2010 would know what they were doing. That's a serious piece of kit you've just bought especially if you're a beginner so prepare to do a lot of learning and reading before you can achieve what you want. You see this software was designed for professionals who have had a lot of previous experience in this field. I wouldn't recommend it to indie game developers/modellers especially if they don't know anything about making models and animating them. That's why it's better for them to buy cheaper and simpler software like Milkshape 3D. That would be a lot easier for someone in your position. But if you're adamant about using MAX then I suggest you find some forums dedicated to that product and when you have become confident in using it move on to creating content for FPS Creator. One step at a time man.

I would like to know if 3DS Max supports .bips and .figs too. Opposing force, your comment isn't exactly helping anyone.

Yes it does support .bip and .fig as you can download one from FPSC Files page.
