i loaded a model sword into a program and it was textured alright...but when i made it into a mesh and added it as a limb to an object, the textures went away...is there any way to save the textures to add to the limb? thanx in advance...

make a small cube, use that as the limb. Glue the sword model to the small cube now and its not a limb anymore but a glued 3d imported model, providing all the features of a model again.
