I made some sci-fi style alien objects for my unreal editor class and I thought I might share it with the community. Hopefully somebody may find some use for the objects in their game.

A very big thank you to BMacZero for converting all of the objects for use in fps creator. Without his help this wouldn't be possible. That being said, all I would request for using this pack would be credit and if so, to include BMacZero along with me.

I'll admit it. When I first saw this thread I was thinking: "Ahaha... a bunch of noob modellers combined with halo wannabes." Then I took a look at it, and wow! Those are amazing models you have there!

Models look good and the textures are also very nice!
Thanks for the contribution.

Just one question... Which shader did you used for your models?

Say how did you get them to glow like that? Or is that a completely different engine? Because i remember seeing this on the 3D chat board somewhere

Still great nonetheless Thanks!

Wow! Thanks for all the comments guys! I really do hope they'll be useful. If anyone does end up using them, please contact me I'd love to play the game or at least see screenies of them being used. email: [email protected]

Dang, I should've mentioned this before. The second image is just the pack title I make for my thread in 3d chat. That screen was done in unreal 3 and it was the only picture I had of all the objects together as I do not own fps creator. I used what's called (or at least my instructors call) an emissive map with a little bit of shader work in unreal. There was a bit of discussion in my other thread about utilizing these maps for a similar effect in fps creator but that's the extent of my knowledge on that. Included are a diffuse, normal, and specular map for each model.

P.S. If any clever person does know a way to duplicate such a shader I (as well as others) would be very grateful

If I see that people do start using these, I'd definitely be glad to make more packs, maybe even invest in fps creator so I can convert them myself. But I'll never sell them. I like to contribute if people appreciate my work and I always appreciate free stuff.

"never sell these" "contribute" -- your a great guy crazy we in the fpsc community greatly appreciate your kindness, and you are AWSOME! lol but seroisly your models are really good, im definitly gonna use them in the experiment facility part of my game,

also, so as i understand it does not shine like that yet in fpsc? can someone post fpsc so we (who do not have fpsc yet) can see what it looks like in fpsc. and also i think it would add the the glow in a darker room, the first screenshot was in a very bright room

and good luck getting a shader that will do the shining affect it was really cool in the other engine

PS : cheesecake your back!! sweet! i cant wait to see your updates on your thread lol

PPS keep up the great work crazy guy (and your crazy for not selling these....but thanks we love you lol )

NO! Never say that John! Vista is made of pure evil....and a pinch of real human souls ... Nevermind keep going, nevermind my ranting, back on topic, would u allow us to modify the model's texture and add the blue in and creat an illumination map texture and use it? Just askin so i don't get screamed at (again ) for modifying someone elses work,

As a note, if you want the objects to look more like the ones in the second screenshot you can change their effect fields to "effectbank\illuminationent\illuminationent.fx". This will add the glowing strips for models that have them, but it will also remove the reflective look they get from the bumpcubereflectalpha shader.

Example:

Diggsey: I have a spine and memory, but one memorable guy says he hates me. What am I?

I think what would make this pack even more perfect is a Halo Ring model. That would be really cool. XD

Great job on the pack. Its very convincing its forunner.
