pokemon is 2d, so i dont think youll use a camera...

koshio5o2 is right Pokemon is 2d so you would just dray your sprites form an angel to make them look 3d-ish.

Unless you were talking about Pokemon stadium or Pokemon Snap which is 3d models in a 3d environment.

Pokemon is 2D ...(well, 'cept possible the one thats been in development at Gamefreak a year or so and will probably take another 6 or so years to be released)....

But you shouldnt dismiss using 3D cameras in 2D games.
By using 2D/3D you could create some very dianamic effects.

You could make this whit 3d objects. Just put your object on a matrix. Place your camera above it (bird eye). Then if you push the up key move the camera and the object (whit animation mabey) at the same time.
