Hello. I'm creating an fps game and have created all of the objects and put most of the game together. For now I have been using
a matrix as a world for testing and now that I have finished with everything else (like gravity and positioning objects etc..) and
want to load in a real world that i have created. But I'm not sure how i can do this. any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
It's not what you know. It's what you can prove!! =)

Not exactly true.

You can convert a Q3 BSP to VRML format, and from there, convert to 3DS or X. You'll need Q3BSP to get the BSP to WRL (VRML), and any good omni-3d converter to get to 3DS or X.

From here, there's a good collision plugin here: http://www.nuclearglory.com/developer/db/kdll.html

Now I'm curious as to if a Half-Life BSP can be converted to VRML, not just a Q3 one.

um.. if the q3 bsp is in bsp format, cant u just load it into the game using "load bsp"?.. i know there's collision problems but i believe someone found a way to fix that.. isn't bsp the only format that DBP will load as a worldmap?

You can't natively load BSPs in DBC.
