I've just found out that Visual C++ 4.0 is free from Microsoft servers for download. Though, during the instalation it asks for seriel number. I tried to find answer in MS homepage but it's much easier to find porn in there then what we are looking for... lol The page is a circus...

The link is here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/WindowsCENETPlatformBuilder/Install/4.0/NT5XP/EN-US/eVC4.exe

I want this cause I wanna try to develope some win 3.1 applications. But once it's asking for seriel number I cannot do much Is anyone using this Visual C and is it really totally free? Just curious

Thanks in advance

they normally put the serial in the readme or ELUA file, just to make sure you read them - what they did with MSVC 3
