Hi everyone,
I've known that the weapon damage decreases gradually by increasing the distance between the player and the target.. any way to cancel this? it becomes very annoying specially for snipers and rocket launchers..
TY..

I haven't noticed this, although it could be because accuracy is reduced over distance, if you're using a mod that is...

If you make the accuracy tighter, more rounds will hit, therefore, more damage...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

...if you aren't particular about the weapon having a limit to its range, you could jack
up the maximum range to a high value.

The damage dropoff would become almost a non-factor at perceivable ranges...

"Increasing" the accuracy value in the gunspec file actually makes the accuracy worse. For perfect accuracy (always hit in dead center of reticle) set the accuracy to 0.

For snipers, you'll also want to do what Seth suggested and increase the "range" value of the weapon to something around 30000-40000 (40,000 will cover from one end of the Map Editor to the other. 56,569 will cover from one corner of the Map Editor to the opposite corner)
