....I am 99% close to buy the whole pack cause the characters are really well done and show great variation.

I need just ONE more thing to know---> Are the characters melee animated so they actually swing their weapons???

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

Yes, they are totally animated, with awesome animations by Bond1.

Why remake a famous game when you could create your own?

Model Pack 20 was made by Steve-Paul (Arteria). Bond1 didn't have anything to do with it.

Unless they hired him to do the animations, but I'm not convinced they asked him to do that.

I had nothing to do with Model Pack 20, although I think they use variations of my scripts from MP18 if I recall. So they might have similar attacking behavior.

...some folks are reluctant to purchase packs from that artist.

Perhaps contacting TGC or the artist directly will yield the answers to your questions...
