I have tried many different scripts that came with FPSC. I have tried writing a script that opens a door when the player walks into it. So far neither have worked. Can someone please help out.

Thanks.

I have nothing. That is why I posted the question that I did.

Thanks for the reply.

...so, you're not asking anyone to help you script this.

In reality, you're expecting the community to script it for you.

How would you ever learn to script it yourself?

Doubtful that anyone is going to step forward and create this script for you. I certainly wouldn't do that...

...especially when you're not willing to even make an earnest effort yourself.

Closely examine the stock triggerzone scripts and stock door scripts, and you will easily have your solution...
and a whole new sense of self-reliance...

You have no idea what I have tried and what I haven't.

Your opinion is noted.

Here is an image that might help...

1) Place a remote door and a trigger zone.

2) Give the door a unique name.

3) Set the trigger zone's Main AI to plrinzoneactivateused.fpi (forgot to cirle that)

4) Set the door's unique name in the trigger zone's ifused.

I tried the method above and it did not work. Now I try it and it does. It was the first thing that I tried. I swear. Might have not put the name of the door into the zone properties properly. Hard to say at this point. Thanks!
