I'm having trouble with lighting, I have set my ambient RGB to R-50 G-50 and B-154 like in the ocfpscguide and my overall ambience is at 0 because it doesn't say anything about that in the guide. But when I add a static light it looks unnatural and really 'defines' segments, like one segment will look extremely well and then the one right next to it is pitch black

With any lights at all my map is completely black even with RGB editted as ive said.

Dynamic lights look a little more natural except they look extremely weak and dont seem to offer the illusion that the light they are by is on.

Can anyone help me figure out what I should do with my lighting to make lights work and look good?

sounds like you need to change the setup.
on setup, change the lines where it says:
lightmaptexsize-change to 1024
lightmapquality-change to 50-100

that should do the trick.

Please note, larger lightmaps will increase loading times...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.
