Hi,
I saw a couple of posts requesting a climable fence so I thought I'd post this.. it's nthn fancy just a little sth to do the trick..

I had some trouble with collision when I used it as a segment so I've converted it to an entity insted and works perfectly..
the entity is exactly one segment wide so if u double press B button and placed them in a row there won't be any spaces between..

feel free to use it, retexture it.. just plz don't claim it as ur own..

I find it funny that whenever you say thanks to someone, you always quote their title exactly... lol

It sounds almost like you are a bot.

Thanks for the fence
But I have a problem,if I go to the fence and I would like to climb.

Then the player remains stuck in the fence and can not move

create a new script for the fence with this code

Quote: "Then the player remains stuck in the fence and can not move"

am sure I've fixed the collision problems try pressing enter before placing the fence and make sure that u don't overlap it with other entities..

@AdrianoJones Wannabe: sure and tell me how it turns out.. just remember to make the fence dynamic and adjust proper physics..

another way of doing so keeping the fence static is to add a hurt zone where the fence is, it would probably give the same results..

A question. Do I make a new script with the contents that you posted in that code snippet then apply it to the dynamic fence?

Interesting concept.

I'll download and try it with a workaround: The climbable parts have a box or stone in front so youll see where the fence is climbable.

btw: this board has very nice&helpfull bots

@AdrianoJones Wannabe: yes, note that u'd have to convert the fence to dynamic urself cause it's static by default.. though I recommend the other method cause improper physics may raise collision problems..

@The Storyteller 01: it's actually climable at both sides

I rather meant to make just the one segment climable, where I put another object *to climb on* ---> that way I can leave the other segments static without having the player do a trial&error where to climb
