I'm editting a .dds texture file in photoshop, but I am really bad at photoshop.

How do I import an image (into an opened document) and then resize that image to fit into a certain place, like I want it to fit on a tv screen so how do i import and resize?

You'll probably need a .dds plug in to begin with...

Here's one I prepared earlier! lol.

With both images open in the main PhotoShop window, select the one you want to copy, then Edit/Select all/Copy.

Now select the one you want to past to and Edit/Paste. I don't know what version of PS you're using, but from there it's probably something like Edit/Scale. Use the mouse arrow and button to grab an edge and scale it down. Select the hand tool to move it.

These are common Windows commands and carry over into PS. PS is an expensive program. You should probably go to their forum and take some tut's.

and remember to hold Shift key while transforming something and keeping scaling ratio. to transform something just use arrow and pull one angle of element to scaling.

Insomnia is coming...
