Hey guys, thought I'd make my first contribution here. This was originally made in x10, but should work perfectly in x9. I realize my texture isn't the best. They are both 1024x1024, I believe. If you don't have shaders to use on the overlays, feel free to delete the normal and specular maps. I'll upload a different one in a few days, but enjoy!

The license is in the read me.

amazing ! you gotta do more! how did you get the reflection?! thats what we need for our blood overlays.

also a little tip - they look a little fake only because of the complete blackness after the wholes, i suggest make it look like theres a little steam or something behind them

There is no reflection John, it's specularity/normal map effect.

And you cant put stuff behind overlays, being as they are just floating images and do not cut a hole in the world.

There is no reflection, but the shininess is from the specular map. I was working on a version that used a wire-frame behind it for a bit. Maybe I'll try that again.

Cheers, guys.

It essentially tells the game how shiny something will be once a shader is applied to it.

You need an appropriate shader. X10 comes with them, and so does x9 I believe. I can't remember what it is in x10.

Could a mod please change the name of this to "Coach Shogun's Media", thank you.

Anyways, here's my first model succesfully imported into FPSC. Because the UV map was weird, the texture ended up being stretched. That stretching in turn caused the texture to look like wood, Also, there's a slight shading error on the bottom side.

The entity is a little grated platform. It casts awesome shadows.

Here is a screen of it.
