yeah, i get how you want this to be going, i recommend putting on a low fog. that way you don't need to have any lights, but you can still see in pitch black.

Wow! Just got back from a trip, come back to see how far your game has really come! I think you've surpassed Equinox from what I've seen so far . I'm very much looking forward to trying a demo of this Metal Devil If you'd like I can help with some of the artwork and retextures for your game

I had a problem like that with Equinox, turns out my lightmap settings were too complex for FPSC to handle. Try setting lightmaptexsize to 512 and lightmapquality to 35 in the setup.cfg.

Is that a problem your facing? Or is someone else facing that?
If there's a story zone that brings up an image, maybe the image is at a bad resolution that the other person's computer can't handle. Happened to some people in Equinox

The mapping objects problem, i really have no idea
Maybe like you said you have a bad object in there.

It's me when testing. It might be some of my retextures thou. I made a level, tested it, it worked, made a room, it had some of my weapons, tested it and BOOM! Not working. Yes, I will try the setting thing of light thing. But I don't understand the mapping problem thing. Is that some of my object are too much out from the map area? Are thay in places where they shouldn't be (no! I ment that in the map. Not anywhere else!!!)? Can you help me with that? Does anybody else know this?

Yes, I am building one right now. It will ttake a while thou. My comp is starting to act like: "Look at me! I'm a computer! I'm slow, so you will have to rip your hair off to deael with me!" So It's going to take a while. Thank Ekipshi, it fixed my problem! I'll let it build over night!

I've been working hardon fixing the bugs. But I got one level working. I am trying to buiild, but it seems to stop on the calculating object lighting part. When I start building again in a while it loads one prosent further and stops. I don't want to build this 50 times to get over the lighting part, so demo wont be uo in a while. But I found siome old screenies from my files and here they are, for you to enjoy!:




And below this text, I just put a screenie, that I would have entered with into the screenshot competition 7, if I would have found out about it in time. I had two other screenies too about it, but I wanted to show them somewhere.

I have some new screenies here! I will try to make the demo upload properly, but I got some levels working. 2 out of 4 work now. And there is 4 levels! But here are some new screenies for you to enjoy. At least, I hope that you enjoy them!

Hey it is very good and dont listen to every douche saying you to make something on your own first get some insiration from other games antil you find a way to completely make your own...Think of it this way if you achive to make a scene to look like a game that was made from 100 people and more you are really great game maker...the game looks really cool the only thing i hate is that i am too afraid to play doom with volume one i listen to smurfs while i play...hhahaha

I like the atmosphere, but you should make a gunrack for those weapons, they don't look right otherwise...

and a hint remember to give a flashlight and never make the level so the player loose direction cause of poor lighting........

UPDATE
There is only one level that is working anymore and I did 4 levels. No 5! I will try to solve the problems, see what's the big idea. And I need a break from horror too, so for now, this can be locked. Might continue this someday thou...
