If it is activated, go to File, Export, 3D Model
select .3ds
open the .3ds in another 3D modeler (I.E: fragmotion, or milkshape3D)
export it as a .x

hope this helps
thanks

http://edecadoudal.googlepages.com/xExporter.rb

Download that, go to your Google Sketchup directory and place it into the plugins folder.
Now open up your model in Google Sketchup. On the top toolbar, where it says "plugins", go to directx > export model, and name it (whateveryouwant).x, and export it to a folder in your entitybank, located in the files folder of your FPSC directory.
Now go to another folder in your entitybank, one that has models. Take a .fpe file, you know, one that has all the settings for the entity, for example name, static mode, health, explodable, etc. Copy that over to where you have your model, and open it with notepad or wordpad. There are only 3 things you need to change.

Where is says:

desc: (enter a description of your model here, can be whatever you want.)

Scroll down, and where it says:

model = (here, enter the name of the .x file of your entity)

For example, if you exported it as house.x, then there, just enter "house.x".

Scroll down, and where it says:

textured = (delete everything here, leave it absolutely blank!)

Now, rename the .fpe file to the name of your model. If your model is called house, just rename the .fpe file to "house".
That's it, make sure the .fpe file, the .x file, and the textures are all in the same directory. If you want, just make a 32x32 image of your model and place it in that directory, so that there is an image of your entity when you are browsing the entity library.

Send me an email if you still don't get it. Good luck with your model.
