Hello, i need to know how can disable system key combinations such as:ALT+TAB, ALT+F4, CTRL+ALT+DEL, CTRL+ESC(which can be assumed as bug, when using fullscreen application it minimize it, if ALT+TAB did not work)and so on i don`t think there is more of them, but anyway.Once i ask something like that and the answer was writing a DLL, which i can`t do.Is there some other way?Im familiar with what DLL do, but i can`t write one, it`s pretty simple for someone who know how, but not me.

Where is a will, there is a way.

You mean like the DISABLE SYSTEMKEYS command? But it doesn't work on XP, ME, or 98.

Yes that is what i mean DISABLE SYSTEMKEYS, but actually doing it.Because this as i tested disable ESC only, and not in combination with other key.

You could add IanM's Matrix 1 Utilities to Darkbasic Pro and use his DISABLE SPECIAL KEYS command that will turn off all of the system keys except CTRL-ALT-DEL. IanM's plugin is totally free and very useful (especially the file commands).

You can get the newest version of IanM's plugin here:

Ctrl + Alt + Del is nigh impossible to disable.
Although, why on earth would you want to unless you're up to something malicious?

I`ll try this command. If i can not disable CTRL+ALT+DEL then i need just to disable it when i login as administrator.

Maybe you would want to do something malicious, not me.Why it`s because i need to do it.Why?I need to have control.

Why would you want to take away the user's only safety net? If the program locks up and all system keys are disabled you'll be stuck.

That's the main reason why we can't disable CTRL-ALT-DEL. If the computer does lock up and you turn off the ability to reboot you'd have to hit reset or pull the plug if it freezes. Do you really want that to maintain control, Luskos?
