Does anyone know if it is possible to make a door the size of a wall segment. The basic idea being to make secret doors like in the old Wolfenstein 3d. I've been playing around with the segment editor and trying to mess with some door fpe scripts but I can't get anything that doesn't give me an error when I try using it in FPSC. Any ideas?

It's possible, but you have to remember doors are Animated objects, you can't just assign a script to a segment, the segment part is the part that cuts through the wall, the actual door is a Dynamic Animated Entity that plays part of the animation when opened, and the same for closing.

It's not the world that turns against you, it's you that turns against the world.

I was able to load one of the already animated scifi door .x files and copied the animation from it using Mod Tool. Then I loaded in a flat wall segment and applied the animation to it and it seemed to work nicely. I also used a wall segment as the punch in the segment editor. I also modified the FPE entity script for the door that I took the animation from so it would use the newly animated wall peice. The problem is I keep getting an error every time I try using it in FPSC. I think it says "Mesh error at line 10155" and it crashes FPSC. I'm so new at this I im just not sure where the real problem is.
