FPSC Classic Scripts / having problems making a killcount script

hello all, i'll keep this short and to the point.

i'm modifying conjured's cash system to create a kill counter that i can place in game. (counts how many kills you have)

the theory behind my plan was simple: make a new set of scripts using the existing cash 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 scripts made by conjured.
first i changed the hud that would be shown, then i changed the hudx values in cash 1 and 2 by adding 2 to the original numbers.

i hoped that i would be able to create another hud slightly to the right of the cash scripts, that at the moment only displayed the numbers that the cash scripts displayed.

unfortunately no hud appeared, so i'm guessing i need to create a new variable for the other scripts.

how would i go about doing this? would i need to change all the globalvariable=1 commands? can anyone help me on this?

To keep track of the amount of kills then couldn't you increase a variable by one in each character's destroy script?
Then display the correct hud for each number.

yes, i know, the kill1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 scripts are what makes the huds and numbers appear.

ok, sure.

the only things i've edited so far are the hud names and positions.
i'm pretty sure the problem is that it's being shown as the same variable as the cash system, so it doesn't appear, only the cash system does.

and the rest are the normal cash scripts, just renamed to kill4 5, and 6.

basically, what i wanted to do was create a new hud that appeared just next to the cash one, but would show the same numbers as the cash system seeing as i hasn't edited anyhing else, but nothing shows up.

i'm guessing i have to change which variable this is? but i have no idea how to go about doing that.
