Wow, I haven't checked this post in a while, and I'm impressed! I love how it starts all warm and homey in the first screens, and then gets darker and colder as you go! Great work Ekipshi, you have obviously thought this game through well!

Voice acting is nearly complete, final work is being done on Game Art work.

Sort of, many aspects were very inspired by CCO, but as well as many horror movies I have seen and other horror games

The game will mainly use Melee weapons so, yes, they would fit well with this game. The only gun you will get is your handgun from your days on the force, ammo will be severely limited as well, so the game focuses on Melee

Sorry to say, I'm just really not motivated to keep working with this engine. For a while I have been losing interest even in the early stages of making this game. I finally got Source's SDK up and working and that has been a blast to work with. Don't get me wrong, this is a fun little engine and all, but I feel it's so limited
I may come back and finish this game in time, but for now, I'm going to leave everything as it is. Although I may finish the demo and release it for the very few of you who are actually interested.
So for now, I bid you all, adieu.

This looks awesome, but sorry, I just noticed in your first post, it was the crowded closet picture, there is a hanging light bulb generating no light... Was this intentional? If so, all the best to you, this looks unbelievable with a great environment and atmosphere.

I've seen it all. Except for myself ever not failing at something.

As I said I may release a demo of this still for those who were waiting so patiently . Although depending on my mood and my schedule, I can't tell you if it will be a full demo or just a level showcase. (2 Levels have sort of a set path and 2 were more storyline based and are more free-roam. You'll just go from one level to the next by stepping in a glowing indicator. Each level will still have the atmosphere/sound effects/events but no storyline/story-related characters.)

I'm not condemning this project for good. If in the near future my schedule clears up a bit and I find myself in the mood, I'll continue this project, but as for now, being busy coupled with low motivation to do this really dosn't give me much of a reason to work on it.

I meant more of level design capabilities (compared to other engines) and not to mention the rather, poor AI, though I heard you were fixing that even in your mod soon? Your mod is already great

This is now indeed condemned.Inspiration for this thing died out quick. To me modern, isn't the most fun thing to work with. You see it everyday, why would you want to create another world that's just like it? It doesn't motivate me to copy the world that's already there. (Though the supernatural sequences were fun and I may do something just including those *cough*)

@Braden: I will say newest project is coming along great, although I really have to figure out some issues with Fenix Mod

That's a good point about modern day game development, then again it's always nice sometimes to just see that world you know turned and flipped over into mayhem, bloodshed and ruin

Glad to hear things are moving with your latest game though, nothing from you ever disappoints.

What's giving you trouble? Just little things I hope!
