u'll need a software to record ingame videos (Fraps)

Crazy Talk to make FPSC characters actually talk (was used in a horror game made by FPSC can't remember the name)

a video editing software I prefere (Ulead video studio), its like an advanced version of windows movie maker

If you mean non-machinima cutscenes, (ones that don't use the FPSC engine), then most people seem to swear by Max, although I'm unsure of it's price... :S

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

3DSM is somewhere in the $3,000 price range. But FRAPS is probably the best 'cutscene maker' software available for FPS Creator (and affordable). You just set up your scence in the editor with waypoints, sound zones, and triggers, and then record it as it plays.

Daz studio is a good program. I've used it for some time. It's free program, but there is this stuff (like model packs) that cost money. And if you have 1000£ limit, then those prizes are nothing. Just check the program out.

That game was Cry Of The Infected. I think.

I own DAZ Studio and Poser 7, Models bought for them can range anywhere from free to 20 dollar non detailed character base in need of morphing to a 400 dollar wooden box with a bunch of morphs. theres really expensive things and theres really inexpensive things.

Not exactly a program you want to take up enless you want to spend some serious Dough.

But I do have to say, poser 7 is indeed an exellent program for animation and cutscenes, the interface is simple and its well worth the 300 dollars it costs, 3DS Max is also great, its my favorite program to do anything in, if your willing to spend an entire thousand I'd suggest you invest in 3DS Max or Poser 7 and a bunch of model packs for it from DAZ Studios.
