Hi,

I have little experience with texture maps and in need of help! I'm working on a medieval game that has to do with zombie knights, zombie peasants, and zombie archers. (And skeleton versions)

I am curious if someone could help a fellow out?

First of all I am be very happy, that someone works on a Fantasy game.

Unfortunately Fantasy is not exactly over-supported regarding the media included in the core game.

There are skeletons but they lack melee animations. the best you can do is equip them with the free machete available (in the store I think)and use the grenade throw animation to make it "strike" but it doesnt look very convincing. The stock media Zombies look better regarding melee animation and there are scripts available. However they use the regular character animations means they dont appear vey zombie like and imo they also dont look anything like a "Fantasy-Zombie". There is some good stuff for DarkBasic but its not FPSC ready.

You get bow and crossbow in MP 18 or in the store (both by bond1) which can be used by the skeletons but also dont look very convincing and you'll have to modify the shooting speed otherwise they are real killers.

You see, I was trying the exactly the same myself since undead usually conceal a weak AI

I then bought MP 20 and 23 which include segments or buildings packed with great Fantasy charcaters: MP 23 has creepy stuff like Zombie, Banshee and Hag (all in all 10 characters with melee animations and cool soundsets) while MP 20 has 10 human/elf charcters with melee animations.

I know its not exactly what you asked for - I hope it helps anyway.

The Storyteller's advice is problem the best you're going to get with fantasy around here unfortunately. Like he said, MP 23 is a great resource of creepy, melee creatures, which are well done. Also, MP 21 has some great fantasy based characters as well. And then you've got MP 28 which is a really good set of fantasy weapons!

When you said you were looking for some fantasy skeleton type characters though, it really sprung to mind for me a WIP thread that came up a while ago. Hasn't had updates in forever, and I don't know where the guy got the character - but he had a wicked fantasy skeleton in his game. Might be worth while trying to get into contact with him. Hope this helps man.

Awh, I didn't realize that

See here I am thinking that guy secretly had the greatest looking FPSC skeleton character out there; but it ain't even working in the program, 'tis is a shame!
